MDPI Remote Sensing Best Paper award 2013 was given to an article of the team of FGI researches: Sanna Kaasalainen, Anssi Krooks, Antero Kukko and Harri Kaartinen. Radiometric Calibration of Terrestrial Laser Scanners with External Reference Targets Remote Sens. 2009, 1(3), 144-158. Remote Sensing has instituted a “Best Paper” award to recognize the most outstanding papers in the area of remote sensing techniques, design and applications published in Remote Sensing since 2009.
